Blast and Paint - Water Pipes and Fittings
Neumann Industrial Coatings can provide abrasive blasting services for the preparation of water pipes and fittings prior to painting.
The pipes and fitting are typically blasted with steel metal grit in our large 15 x 7m Blast Room. For the Ductile Iron steel metal grit is a very good medium to use, which creates a sound clean surface for painting.
We can also offer painting services in one of our two large Spray Rooms. The Pipes and Fitting are usually painted with two coats of a solvent free polyamine cured epoxy coating (two-pack)
Jotun Tank Guard 412
This is a two-component solvent free polyamine cured epoxy coating. It is a general-purpose tank lining with good chemical resistance. Can be used as primer, mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and concrete substrates.
Marine: Can be used as a coating for potable water, grey water and crude oil tanks.
Protective: Recommended as an internal lining for offshore, onshore and buried tanks and pipes. Refer to Protective Product Resistance List. Recommended for offshore environments, including splash zones, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel.
